Descendants of James Doherty and Mary McGinnis

Welcome to our family web site! Many hours of work have been put into the research and documentation of these ancestors and descendants. We hope you will benefit from the information we present here. If you are aware of any errors or omissions please send details to me at the address shown at the bottom of the page. This is still a work in progress, as we research further we hope to link the family all the way back to the earliest recorded documents. At this stage the family members listed are mainly in Ireland and New Zealand.

Because the family has grown much larger with the addition of information from Noeline Carey [thanks Noeline] I would suggest to use the links on surnames to your point of interest i.e. click on your Grandfathers name then on your father, yourself, children etc. Otherwise you may find yourself lost amongst the sea of names. There are now 1325 individuals and 377 families.
